Use
The automatic accruals correction function enables you to correct accruals, which were created by means of SD conditions, in REA, if the SD condition value is changed retroactively. In such cases, an adjustment posting is created that adjusts the accrual by the difference amount.
The adjustment posting can either be triggered automatically in the background, or made manually using a program.
Requirements
The use of SD conditions in REA has been activated and the condition is configured in R/3 to create accruals.
Standard settings
Activities
In this IMG activity, you first create a profile that controls how the adjustment posting is to be created. In the next IMG activity, you then assign this profile to an SD condition type that creates the accruals that are to be corrected.
