Use
In this IMG activity, you define which messages from the declaration system or in the consistency check are assigned to a message type different than in the standard system.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
Assign the relevant custom message type to a message class and message number. A special assignment is possible for the combination recycling partner, recycling partner, and company code, as well as for recycling partner, company code, and country.
A special assignment company code and country, country or company code is not possible and yields a non-defined result.
Further notes
The following restrictions apply for the declaration system:
- If a standard message belongs to category E (error) and is to be changed in this Customizing table, the message 881 (message class) 81 (message number) is always recorded in the log file.
- The declaration system contains a number of messages that for reasons of data consistency cannot be overridden using this IMG activity.
- Messages in the declaration system generally belong to message class 881 or 88.
The following restrictions apply for the consistency check:
- If all messages are hidden for a node, the node is not displayed.
- Messages that apply for all recycling partners cannot be suppressed for one particular recycling partner.
- Messages in the consistency check belong to message class 884.
Example
Message Number Recycling Partner Company Code Country Message Type
059 DSD 1000 DE I
059 DSD 1000 W
059 DSD E
059 <blank>
The settings in the above example have the following result:
- Message 059 is issued as an information message for recycling partner DSD in company code 1000 in country DE.
- Message 059 is issued as a warning for recycling partner DSD in company code 1000 in countries other than DE.
- Message 059 is issued as an error for recycling partner DSD in a company code other than 1000.
- Message 059 is not issued for recycling partners other than DSD.
