Use
In this IMG activity, you can manually trigger the update of SD or MM conditions that are generated by REA.
Requirements
The condition types must have been set up for the recycling partner or in Customizing for REA.
Standard settings
Recommendation
It is recommended to run the program in the background.
Activities
The selection options enable you to restrict the update to specific REA master data. The Test Run radio button enables you to control whether an update is actually to take place or is simply to be simulated.
If the program is not run in the background, the log appears as a modal dialog box that displays the log entries as a multilevel list of the application log. The entries for each article can also be accessed using the corresponding function in the article dialog (error log history).
You can analyze the entire application log using the transaction SLG1. You can delete entries from the application log using the transaction SLG2. The object J7LM and the subobject CHANGE_CONDITION identify entries for the condition adjustment log regardless of whether the condition adjustments are made in the master data dialog or using this program. All entries have expiry date 12/31/9999.
Further notes
Although specifying a recycling partner in the selection criteria restricts the update to the condition type that has been stored for this recycling partner, all REA master data that is to be updated directly or indirectly (via a packaging assignment) may be selected. Consequently the selection is initially independent of whether a condition can actually be created for a recycling partner.
