Use

In this IMG activity, you define the properties of the company codes used in REA and, if necessary, define a company-code reference.

Requirements

You have declared the company codes in REA.

Standard settings

Recommendation

You can delete entries by setting the deletion indicator.

Activities

  • You first have to maintain the company code reference on the overview screen. The company code references either another company code in REA or itself.
  • On the detail screen, you can then define a number of properties for the company code in REA (currencies, BBN codes).
  • The middle section of the detail screen relates to the bill of material (BOM) explosion in REA.
    Here you set parameters that stipulate whether and how the BOM is to be exploded across plants.
    You also configure how the BOM is displayed on the article screen.
  • In the bottom section of the screen you define the source field customer for the declaration system for each company code.
    If the source field is determined for the company code, it overrides the general setting.

Further notes

Example

Company code referencing: Company code 1000 references company code 0001. REA master data cannot be maintained in company code 1000. All settlement-relevant master data is determined from company code 0001.
