Use
In this IMG activity, you can define groups for the customer-definable characteristic.
Requirements
Groups can be used in combination with the data filter PF (characteristic MM). If you want to influence pricing by means of a pricing condition, you need to have created the pricing condition.
Standard settings
Activities
You can group REA material master data using the value of any attribute of the material master. You first have to define the grouping using the data filter PF (characteristic MM). You then define the attribute and define the groups in this IMG activity. Finally, you assign a group to the values of the attribute in the data filter PF (characteristic MM).
A group can be differentiated in the declaration system on the basis of its attributes.
You can use a price formula for the recycling partner to influence pricing with a pricing condition assigned to the group.
Recommendation
You can delete entries be setting the deletion flag.
Example
The material type is defined as an attribute in the material master. The groups SA (small article) and LA (large article) are defined and assigned to various material types in the data filter PF (charactersistic MM):
Group Material Type
SA HAWA, FERT, NOF1
LA FGTR, FOOD
If a selection in the declaration system is based on the characteristic LA, the system only evaluates materials with the material type HAWA, FERT and NOF1.
