Use

In this Customizing activity, you enter the movement types for goods receipt that are relevant for inflation revaluation. When you run the Replacement Cost Valuation (Market Price Determination)program, the system then revaluates only those goods receipts with a movement type that has been entered here.

You must enter the relevant movement types for each company code. If you have several plants in one company code, you enter the movement types as follows:

  • If a movement type is valid for all plants, enter the movement type once and leave the plant in that row empty.
  • If a movement type is valid for one or more plants (but not all), make an entry for each combination of plant and movement type.

Example

In your CL1 company code, you have three plants: 0001, 0002, and 0003. You use the following movement types for goods receipts:

  • Movement type 101 is valid for all plants.
  • Movement type 103 is valid for plant 0002 and 0003.
  • Movement type 107 is valid for plant 0003.

You make the following settings in this Customizing activity for your CL1 company code:

  • In the first row, you leave the plant blank and enter 101 in the Movement Type field.
  • In the second row, you enter 0002 in the Plant field and 103 as the movement type.
  • In the third row, you enter 0003 in the Plant field and 103 as the movement type.
  • In the fourth row, you enter 0003 in the Plant field and 107 as the movement type.
