    This entry determines the type of RFC link. The link type determines, for example, which means of communication (TCP or SNA) is used and how logon takes place in the target system.

  • Event

    The triggering event is defined in the application. You specify the key (name) of the event in this field.

  • Remote function module name
  • Specify the key (name) of the RFC function module here.

Standard settings

The standard system contains common RFC function modules.

Recommendation

You are advised not to change the existing entries.

Activities

  1. Find out how many of the existing entries you can use.
  2. If you want to change an RFC function module, copy it and change the copy.
  3. To create a new RFC function module, please proceed as follows:
    1. Enter the key for the type of entry.
    2. Enter the key of the event that was defined in the application as the trigger for the action.
    3. Enter the key (name) of the RFC function module.
    4. Enter a suitable descriptive text.
