In this step, you define the possible production sequence types.
You need these types when maintaining the production sequences in shipping master data.
You create the function module for sorting the production data under a key. This function module controls the production sequences within a repetition group.
Example
You use the production sequence types to define that edition Ed1 is first produced for postal shipping and then for home delivery.
Standard settings
The standard system contains production sequence types for postal shipping, shortfalls and home delivery.
Activities
To create the required production sequence types, please proceed as follows:
- Specify a single-character alphanumeric key.
- Enter the function module for sorting the production data.
- Enter the appropriate short and long texts.
