In this step, you define the possible letter types for creating letters using output control.
The letter type classifies business transactions for which a particular letter is generated.
You require the letter types in order processing. You assign an output letter type to an order item using the menu path Item -> Details screens -> Reporting.
You can use the letter type to send letters of the required type according to individual requirements and print programs within output control.
Activities
To create the required letter types, please proceed as follows:
- Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 4 characters for each letter type.
- Enter a long text and a short text for each letter type key.
