The POS characteristics are as follows:

  • POS category
  • POS type
  • POS area key
  • POS service type
  • POS sales influence
  • POS customer frequency
  • POS opening time
  • POS closing time
  • POS opening type (depending on weekday)
  • POS geography category

You enter each possible attribute of a POS characteristic under a key with a corresponding text. You can choose a characteristic attribute for each POS characteristic in the retailer's master record.

Activities

To create further POS characteristic attributes, please proceed as follows:

  1. Enter an alphanumeric key of 1 to 4 characters in length, depending on the POS characteristic.
  2. Enter the appropriate text.
