In this step, you define the field catalogs (list of allowed fields) and the condition tables for output condition records for each application.
In a condition table, you define the combination of fields for which you want to create the output condition records.
For example, you can use a condition table to make output determination dependent on the combination of the sales organization and business partner.
SAP recommendation
You are advised not to change the condition tables in the standard SAP System. If you want to make changes, you should create new condition tables. To do this, copy a similar existing condition table and make the necessary changes to the copy.
Activities
- Check the extent of the field catalogs ans create any new fields you need or delete those you do not need.
- Check whether you can use the condition tables in the standard SAP system for output control.
Note
The icons for creating, changing or displaying a condition table are displayed below the condition table overview.
- To create a new condition table, please proceed as follows:
- Enter the name of the table you want to create.
- Please note that you can only choose names between 501 and 999.
- If you want to use a copy template, specify the name of a reference table.
- Enter a text for the condition table.
- Choose the desired fields for the condition table from the list of allowed fields.
- Generate the new condition table.
- Specify the condition tables in the access sequences (see the next step). This creates the link between the output condition, the access sequence and the output condition record.
Further notes
When you generate condition tables, the system creates entries in various control tables. If you created condition tables for testing purposes, you must generate them again in the productive system.
