In this step, you maintain Incoterms used in the industry-specific components for the media industry.
The Incoterms regulate the distribution of shipping costs and risks between the buyer and the seller. For this reason, most Incoterms specify a location, restricting the buyer's or seller's area of responsibility.
You can specify whether a location is to be specified in the second Incoterms field for each Incoterm.
Example
Since the Incoterm FOB was created with the indicator 'Location mandatory' selected, the system only accepts the Incoterm if a location is specified for it, for example 'FOB Cleveland'.
Activities
To create a new entry, please proceed as follows:
- Specify the key for the Incoterm.
- Enter the text for the Incoterm.
- Select the indicator for 'Location mandatory' if required.
