In this step, you define the billing frequencies.

You will need the keys for billing frequencies when creating and maintaining order and billing items.

Standard settings

The standard system contains the following billing frequencies:
01    Year
02    Half-year
04    Quarter
12    Month

Activities

  1. Find out which billing frequencies are required in your company.
  2. To create billing frequencies, please proceed as follows:
    • Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 2 characters for each frequency.
    • Enter a short text and a long text.
    • Specify the time factor and the time unit (columns TF and TUn). The time factor indicates the number of times the time unit is contained in the billing period. For example, if you specify the time unit 'Month' for a quarter, the time factor is '3'.
    • Specify the text for the billing frequency for the sales price. This text is displayed as the text for the sales price when pricing is performed for order items.
