In this step, you make the settings for converting bank clearing accounts to interim accounts for bank returns.
The entire return amounts for a bank are transferred from the bank clearing account to the interim account defined here. This enables you to monitor postings better that arise from processing of bank returns.
Activities
- Specify the company code for which the account conversion applies.
- Assign each bank clearing account an interim account for bank returns to which it is to be converted.
Further notes
The clearing accounts should already be created in your financials system.
