In this step, you define the possible setting values for carrier route categories.
Carrier route categories are used to differentiate more subtly between characteristics specific to carrier routes. This differentiation is required when determining settlement conditions for carriers and service companies.

Example
A long journey to the carrier route, hilly terrain with steps and stairs or keys that the carrier has to carry are all factors that make home delivery more difficult. These carrier route characteristics can be taken into account when performing settlement on delivery services.

The standard settings are only intended as an example - you should rework these to meet your own requirements.
Activities
- Check each carrier route category to determine which classifications would be useful according to your company's requirements as regards service settlement.
- Adjust existing texts to meet your requirements if necessary.
- Delete classifications that you do not need.
- If you need to create new classifications, please proceed as follows:
- Specify an alphanumeric key of up to two characters.
- Enter the appropriate text.
