In this step, you define the access sequences and account determination types for automatic expense account determination in home delivery settlement.

The access sequence defines the following:

  • which condition tables the SAP System uses to access condition records
  • the order in which the condition tables are read
  • the field contents with which the condition_records are to be read

You define the valid access sequence in the account determination type.

Standard settings

  • The standard system contains predefined access sequences.
  • The standard system contains account determination types with the keys 'MZGZ' (home delivery by carrier) and 'VZGZ' (home delivery by service company).

These entries enable you to carry out automatic account determination in the SAP System.

Activities

  1. Find out whether you can use the access sequences and account determination types in the standard system.
  2. Define your access sequences. To do this, choose the relevant criteria for a new access sequence.
  3. Define your account determination types.
