In this step, you define your account determination procedures and assign them to the commission settlement types.
In an account determination procedure, you define the order in which the SAP System is to read the account determination types used for expense account determination.
You assign the account determination procedures to the object types (commission settlement types) for which account determination is to be performed.
Preconditions
You should already have defined the commission settlement types (see the step Define commission settlement types).
Standard settings
The standard system contains an account determination procedure for sales agent commission and one for service company commission. These procedures can already be used to perform automatic account determination.
Activities
- Find out whether or not you can use the standard settings for the account determination procedures.
- Define your account determination procedure and specify the account determination types that are relevant for this procedure.
- Assign the object types (commission settlement types) to the account determination procedures.
