In this step, you maintain the assignments of postal settlement numbers to the IS-PSD shipping data on inserts.

You assign each postal settlement number to a combination of the following settings:

  • Logistical delivery type
  • Postal network (optional)
  • 'Third-party insert' indicator
  • Postal format (of insert)
  • Indicator 'Insert contains individual specifications'

Activities

  1. To set up the basis for assignments, please proceed as follows:
    1. Specify the key of the logistical delivery type.
    2. Specify the key of the postal network. This entry is optional.
    3. If the edition inserted is a third-party insert (and does not originate from your company), select the TPIns.post indicator.
    4. Specify the key for the postal format.
    5. If the issue contains individual specifications for the recipient, select the ContInd. indicator.
  2. Assign a postal settlement number to the combination of settings.
