In this step, you maintain the preset commission settlement types.
The commission settlement types are set in the program. It is not possible to change or add to the standard keys, but you can maintain certain details (see below).
You require commission settlement types when maintaining commission settlement.
Standard settings
The standard system contains the following commission settlement types for the industry-specific components for the media industry:
Key Commission settlement type
PROV Employee commission settlement
PRVS Service company commission settlement
SPRO Reversal of employee commission settlement
SPRV Reversal of service company commission settlement
Activities
Make the following entries on the details screen for the appropriate commission settlement type:
- Number systems
- No.range int.no.assgt.
- Specify an internal number range for document number assignment. If you want to perform number assignment for several settlement types together, you should specify the same number range for each of these settlement types. You defined the number ranges in the step Define number ranges for settlement in Media Sales and Distribution.
- No.range condit.doc.
- Specify the internal number range for the condition documents for the service settlement documents.
- Item no.increment
- Specify the increment for item number assignment.
- General controls
- Posting block
- Select this indicator if you want the system to block a settlement document of this type for transfer to Financial Accounting. If you select the indicator, you must then release the settlement document manually for transfer.
- Output
- Output determination procedure and output type
- Specify the relevant keys if you have already defined output types and determination procedures. You can define output types and determination procedures and assign them to a commission settlement type in the section Settlement Output in the part of the IMG dealing with output determination.
- Definition of a settlement type is only complete once you have made the settings for output determination in settlement.
