In this step you define the commercial clusters.

You require commercial clusters to describe detailed program schedules.

Commercial clusters are connected periods in which commercials can be placed, such as 5 minute slot before the news or 7 minute slot before the radio play.

The combination of the airing date, time slice, commercial cluster and position produces an airing time. When the order data is confirmed, the system generates a schedule line and billing dataset for each airing time.

Commercial clusters can be relevant to price.

Activities

  1. Check which clusters you require to describe detailed program schedules from a production and settlement perspective.
  2. Create the clusters as follows:
    1. Enter an alphanumeric key with a maximum of two characters for each cluster.
    2. Enter the short text and long text.
    3. The system offers you the short text for selection in the possible entries function.
