In this step you have the option of assigning business transactions in an update group at item level.
To do so, you use the statistics groups defined previously and the assigned statistics groups as well as the respective sales areas.
These settings affect the following updates in Advertising Management:
- Key figures that are updated at order item level
- Key figures that are updated at billing dataset level
- Key figures that are updated at schedule line/ad spec level
Caution
If a sales area is not to have any particular influence on the statistics update, it is possible to specify the sales area generically by not specifying the associated field contents for the sales organization, the distribution channel and the division further, i.e leaving them as initial values.
Requirements
- You should have created the Sales areas.
- You should have defined and assigned the Statistics groups.
Standard settings
Default settings "0001/01/01" are supplied for the sales area.
Activities
Assign the statistic groups and the sales areas to an update group.
