In this step you define positioning instructions in the IS-M/AM System.

You record the short text for the positioning instruction for the possible entries function (F4), together with a long text, under a key. You specify the key for the positioning instruction when you define the positioning attributes for the ad item.

Activities

  1. Establish which positioning instructions you want to distinguish.
  2. To create the positioning instructions required, please proceed as follows:
    1. Enter a two-character alphanumeric key for each positioning instruction.
    2. Enter the short text for the possible entries function (F4).
    3. Enter the long text.
    4. If the positioning instruction is only to be valid in particular sales areas, you should select the Sales area restriction indicator. You can then specify the restriction in the next step.
