Reasons control the creation of condition amounts during simplified condition maintenance in the order.
Activities
In this step you assign reasons for a condition to the condition reference. Reasons are used to control the creation of condition values in the order. You should create a reason for the condition types of each item type (ad, service, ad insert) and assign the condition type (discount%, discount amount ...) and the condition reference.
During condition maintenance in the order header for which there is only one discount % and one surcharge %, you should enter reasons without an item type. You should ensure that you only maintain reasons here that are assigned to condition types that appear in all pricing procedures.
