In this step you can define a competitor exclusion. During this process, you determine the level at which checks are made to see if there are media publications from competitors in the same edition/broadcast.
The request for competitor exclusion is copied into the order from the advertiser master data. Competitor exclusion checks are made at basic booking unit level and publication date level.
Requirements
Competitor exclusion should be activated in the sales area settings for the order.
Further notes
Using competitor exclusion can significantly impair system performance during order processing.
