In this step you define booking unit hierarchy versions.
Booking unit hierarchy versions distinguish booking unit hierarchies of the same hierarchy type.
If you have created several booking unit hierarchies that are granted contract discount because your organization intends to publish additional newspapers and magazines in the future, you can use the hierarchy version to distinguish the current booking unit hierarchy that is granted contract discount and is currently valid from the one that is to be valid in the future.
Booking unit hierarchy versions can be active or inactive.
Each booking unit hierarchy version has a validity period.
Activities
You define booking unit hierarchy versions for each hierarchy type
The following booking unit hierarchy types are found in the system: sales-relevant, granted contract discount, fulfills contract, granted contract bonus and fulfills contract bonus booking unit hierarchy.
- Check which booking unit hierarchy versions you require.
- Create these hierarchy versions as follows:
- Enter an alphanumeric key of up to six characters to describe the hierarchy version.
- Enter a validity period.
- Select the Active BUHierVr indicator as required.
