In this step you maintain the positioning ad type.

You record the short text for the positioning ad type for the possible entries function (F4), together with a long text, under a key.

You enter the key for the positioning ad type in the order at the level at which you create the positioning instructions. This information is transferred to the positioning system.

Activities

  1. Establish which positioning ad types you want to distinguish and those that can be distinguished by your positioning system.
  2. To create the positioning ad types required, please proceed as follows:
    1. Enter an alphanumeric key of up to four characters for each positioning ad type.
    2. Enter the short text for the possible entries function (F4).
    3. Enter the long text.
    4. If the ad positioning is only to be valid in particular sales areas, you should select the sales area restriction indicator. You can then specify the restriction in the next step.
