In this step you define the number ranges from which the texts for contract requirements should be created.

Activities

To define a number range, determine a number interval (or several number intervals) as follows:

  1. Enter an alphanumeric key for each number interval that can have up to 2 digits.
  2. Specify the limits of the number interval (from-number, to-number). Individual number intervals cannot overlap. Each number can therefore only appear once in each number range.
  3. Select the "Ext" indicator for external number range intervals.

Notes about transport

You transport number range objects as follows:

Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.

All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
