In this step you define dependencies for the contract condition types (contract discounts, bonuses, fixed amount prices, threshold values, tolerances) using condition tables. In a condition table you determine the combination of fields for which you can create condition records.

Recommendation

You should not change condition tables which appear in the SAP standard system.

Activities

  • Establish the extent to which you can use the condition tables included in the SAP standard system. You can display the condition tables to do so.
  • You can refer to the field catalog for fields you have queries about in new condition tables.
  • You should proceed as follows when creating a new condition table:
    • Enter the name of the table which you want to create. Please note that you can only select names between 501 and 999. If you leave this field blank, the system will automatically assign a consecutive number.
    • Specify whether you wish to create the table with or without a validity period.
    • Enter the table type for the condition table (i.e. transparent table).
    • Enter a description for the condition table.
    • Select desired fields for the condition table from the list of permissible fields supplied in the field catalog.
    • Generate the new condition table.
  • Enter the condition table in the access sequences. This allows you create the connection between condition type, access sequence and condition record.
