In this step, you define the title types you require when creating and editing publications.

The title type is used to classify title publications. It controls sales tax processing for revenue accrual (for example, proportional sales tax payment is only allowed for daily newspapers) and can be used in statistical evaluations.

Example

You can distinguish between publications using title types such as 'Daily newspaper', 'Weekly newspaper' and 'Specialist journal'.

Recommendation

Since title types are only used in the industry-specific components for media and have no effect on the standard system, you should delete the title types you do not require.

Activities

  1. Find out which title types your company uses.
  2. Modify the existing texts for the title types to meet your requirements.
  3. To create a new title type, please proceed as follows:
    1. Specify a unique numerical key of up to 2 digits.
    2. Enter the appropriate short and long text.
  4. Delete the title types you do not need.
