In this step, you define the possible content categories.
The content category is used to classify editions of a publication or media products belonging to a media product family.
Example
In accordance with regional distribution of editions/media products, you can classify them as the content categories "Carrier route issue", "Local issue", "National issue" etc.
Recommendation
Since the content category is used exclusively in the industry-specific components for media and does not affect the standard system, you should delete the content categories you do not require.
Activities
- Determine which content categories are used in your company.
- Modify the existing texts to meet your company's requirements.
- To create a new content category, specify a unique numeric key of up to 2 characters and enter the appropriate short and long texts.
- Delete the content categories you do not require.
