In this step, you maintain the address formatting types for the internal field used in the duplicate check.
Every formatting type is created under a key. The key is assigned a function module that controls the assembly of the search field. You then specify the desired key in formatting determination.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains a function module that controls search field assembly for the internal search field in the duplicate check.
Activities
To create a formatting type for search field assembly, please proceed as follows:
- Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 2 characters.
- Specify the function module for the appropriate search field assembly.
