In this step, you can assign business transactions to an update group at header level.
This is done using the statistics groups you have defined and assigned as well as the appropriate sales area.
These settings affect the following updates:
- Key figures that are updated at (correction) request header level
- Key figures that are updated at billing document header level.
Caution
If a sales area is not to have a particular influence on the statistics update, you can specify a generic sales area as of release 3.04 by not making entries for the sales organization, distribution channel and division and leaving the fields initial.
Requirements
- You should already have set up the sales areas.
- You should have defined and assigned the statistics groups.
Standard settings
The standard system contains settings for the sales area "0001/01/01".
Activities
Assign each statistics group and sales area to an update group.
