In this step, you can carry out an update check for documents that prevented update or caused errors. The check simulates update for each document and creates an update log.

You can simulate update for the following documents:

  • Documents from Media Sales and Distribution
    • Sales orders
    • Correction orders
    • Deliveries
    • Billing documents
  • Documents from Advertising Management
    • Orders
    • Billing documents
  • Sales and distribution documents
    • Sales documents
    • Deliveries
    • Billing documents
  • Purchasing documents
  • Material documents
  • Accounting documents

Note

When you create an update log during update simulation, existing update logs are overwritten.

Activities

  1. Enter the number of the document for which update is to be simulated.
  2. If you want to simulate update for a material document, you must also specify the material document year, since the key used to access a material document consists of both the document number and the document year.
  3. If you want to simulate update for an accounting document, you must also specify the company code and the fiscal year, since the document number of an accounting document can only be identified uniquely for each company code and fiscal year.
  4. Press Enter.
