In this IMG activity, you can create, change, display, copy or delete update groups for the statistics update.
Note
The updating definition is a central function in the Logistics Information System, whereas the allocation of the application-specific business transactions is made using the respective organizational elements in the corresponding applications.
Standard settings
All of the update groups that begin with numbers or with "S" lie in the SAP name range.
Activities
Maintain the update groups which can be used by the application.

The update groups 800001 to 800004 apply to sales documents with 'important' sold-to parties and groups 800011 to 800014 to documents with 'unimportant' sold-to parties. This means that the update rules in the standard system update documents with 'important' sold-to parties in customer-specific information structures.
You will not usually need to make your own enhancements to this update group, even when defining your own information structures. However, if you do need to make changes, you must modify all the update rules and IS-M-specific settings for updating.
