In this IMG activity, you can configure the initial settings for the standard analyses.
You can make specifications for the following areas of standard reporting:
- Standard drill-down
In every standard analysis in the SAP R/3 System, a standard drill down for the characteristics is available.
You also have the possibility to change the sequence of these characteristics to suit your requirements.
- Key figures
The key figures are predefined for every standard analysis in the standard SAP R/3 System.
You can determine which key figures in the list, which is created in the analysis that is chosen by you, are displayed.
You also have the possibility of interactively changing the selected key figures during the analysis.
- Parameters
In the standard SAP R/3 System, the parameters are predefined for the layout of the evaluation lists for every standard analysis.
You can change these parameters to suit your requirements.
In addition, you have the option of defining default values for the selection screen.
You can interactively change these settings during the analysis.
You can make specifications for the following parameters:
- Number of periods in the selection screen
- With current period
- Selectable version
- Analysis currency
- Type of exchange rate for the currency conversion
- Characteristic display (key, description or both)
- Width of the characteristics column
- Width of the key figures columns
- Display drill-down log in the page header
- Initial graphics
- Method for data enhancement
- Method for list enhancement
- Formula for list enhancement
The standard analyses are divided up according to application.
Activities
- Determine the application in which you want to execute a standard analysis.
- Specify the name of the information structure for which you want to carry out a standard analysis.
- Press Enter.
- Select an analysis.
If there is only one analysis for the information structure that you have selected, branch directly to the overview of the characteristics.
- Define the sequence of the characteristics for the standard drill-down.
- Define the key figures.
- Set the parameters for the evaluation lists.
