In this step, you maintain the various authorization profiles that define individual users' authorizations.

A profile contains authorization objects and the authorizations they contain for limited task areas.

You record a user's authorization profile in his or her user master record.

Standard Settings

The standard system contains the profiles M_LIS_ALL (maintenance authorization for all functions in the Logistics Information System including planning) and J_AUSW_ISP (IS-M evaluations including special IS-M functions in the Logistics Information System).

The standard system also contains the following profiles for Sales and Operations Planning (SOP):

  • C_SOP_ALL (maintenance authorization for all SOP functions)
  • C_SOP_ANZ (display authorization for all SOP functions)

The standard profiles always give authorization for all organizational units.
