When you generate a project IMG, the System displays the Global Settings section of the Implementation Guide automatically. This section contains the customizing activities Check units of measurement and Maintain calendar.
The following special features apply to units of measurement and calendars in the industry-specific components for media (IS-M):
Units of measurement
The standard delivery of IS-M contains media-specific units of measurement. Each of these units of measurement refers to a dimension. The following table lists the units of measurement for the dimensions paper weight, paper thickness, advertisement area and no dimensions.

Note: As of Release 3.04, the dimension MASSBD (delivered in the SAP standard System since Release 3.0) replaces the dimension PAGEW (PAGEW is no longer used). This means that the units of measurement for the dimension 'Pressure' are to be used for paper weights.
Please note: You must not change these units of measurement. If the listed units of measurement are not all available in your client, you can transport them from client 000 (select the units of measurement and choose Unit of measurement -> Transport).
Calendar
The standard delivery of IS-M contains the following billing and settlement calendars:
- JM (Billing schedule: Monthly on 1st)
- J3 (Billing schedule: Every three months on 1st of quarter)
- JJ (Billing schedule: Annually on 1st January)
Important: When installing IS-M for the first time, you should generate these calendars using report RJYFACID.
