In this step, you define the possible name affixes for recording business partners.

You can record or maintain the following name affix types separately:

  • titles that appear before or after the name
  • name prefixes
  • name affixes

This Customizing activity is based on Media business partner technology (previous business partner solution) and still forms the basis for correct usage of the SAP Business Partner. Please assign the entries you make here to the corresponding settings for the SAP Business Partner in the following three Customizing activities.

Activities

To create a name affix, please proceed as follows:

  1. Specify the key for the name affix type.
    Please take care to maintain each name affix type separately.
  2. Enter the name affix.
  3. Enter the output text for the name affix.
    This is the text that will be printed out in the business partner's address.

Further notes

Table T535N (Name Affixes) is not included when business partner tables are copied from one client to another. You may therefore need to copy this table explicitly.
