In this step, you define the edition report groups 1 and 2, which can be used for the assignment of the individual editions.

You can assign report groups 1 and 2 as you wish. This creates two new grouping characteristics, which are then available for use in statistical evaluations.

You assign the report group(s) to the appropriate edition when maintaining edition master data (screen 'General Data 2').

Activities

  1. Determine which additional grouping characteristics you require for edition statistics.
  2. To define report groupings, please proceed as follows:
    1. Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 10 characters in the field Rep.grp 1 or Rep.grp 2.
    2. Specify a text describing the report group in the fields Short text and Long text.
  3. Ensure that you record report groups when creating edition master data.
