In this step, you define which formatting types (keys of function modules) are used in address formatting.

You can make formatting determination depend on the country and/or the form-of-address key in the address. However, you can also perform formatting determination generally without specifying a country or form-of-address key.

You should enter the keys of the function modules (formatting types) to be used in the following order in each line:

  • Formatting type for addresses in print preview
  • Formatting type for search field formatting (business partners)
  • Formatting type for customer names in FI
  • Formatting type for customer names in RF

Requirements

The formatting types should have been defined previously.

Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains presettings for address formatting.

Activities

  1. Decide whether address formatting is to be dependent on the country and/or form-of-address key.
  2. If this applies, specify the country and/or form-of-address key for the assignment of formatting types.
  3. Enter the required formatting types (function module keys).
