In this step, you define the print formats for addresses.

You create each format under a key and determine the number of lines and columns in the address to be printed for each format.

The address print formats are simply created and maintained in this step. They can only be used once they have been assigned to a role-specific form (see the next step, Assign print formats to form).

Standard settings

The standard system already contains some common print formats.

Activities

  1. Check which print formats you require for printing addresses using role-specific forms.
  2. Edit the details (number of lines/columns, short/long text) for the existing address print formats if necessary.
  3. To create new address print formats, please proceed as follows:
    1. Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 10 characters.
    2. Enter the desired number of lines. This number should comprise up to 2 digits.
    3. Enter the desired number of columns. This number should comprise up to 3 digits.
    4. Enter a short text for the print format.
    5. Enter a long text for the print format.
