In this step, you define the assignments that are allowed between sales document types and item categories in SD (for example, standard order - standard item) as well as order types (for delivery viability optimization) and delivery types in Media Sales and Distribution (IS-M/SD).
These allowed assignments are required for the Logistics interface in Media Sales and Distribution. The Logistics interface allows you to deliver orders in Media Product Sales and Distribution using the shipping functions in Periodical Sales and Distribution (together with subscription orders).
SD orders in Media Product Sales and Distribution can only be transferred to the Logistics interface if the corresponding entries are maintained in this table.
