In this step, you define the possible actions the system can take when incoming payments are delayed.
Depending on the time the delayed payment is received, you can use a key to define whether tolerance deliveries made after the paid purchase period is over are to be subject to or free of charge.
You can set up the system actions separately for the following times of delayed payment:
- Incoming payment in first tolerance period
- Incoming payment in second tolerance period
- Incoming payment after automatic termination
You specify the key of the action for delayed payment when you define the monitoring procedure.
Example
Deliveries made during the first tolerance period are subject to charge if a delayed payment is received. However, if a customer resumes the business relationship after the subscription is terminated automatically by making a further payment, he is not billed for the deliveries made in the meantime.
Standard settings
The setting Billing for deliv. is activated as default for all times of delayed payment.
Activities
To create an action for delayed payment, please proceed as follows:
- Specify a two-character alphanumeric key.
- Enter a short and long text for the key.
- Define the action (billing for delivery or delivery free) for each time of delayed payment.
