In this step, you define the number intervals in the number range for shipping orders.
Each shipping order is created internally under a unique key. For this reason, you should only define the internal number range interval "01" for assigning these keys.
When you create shipping orders, the system automatically assigns a sequence number from the internal number range as the key.
Transport
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
Activities
To create the number interval, please proceed as follows:
- Specify the key "01" for the number interval.
- Specify the limits of the number interval (from and to).
