In this step, you initialize the standard Customizing settings for the SAP BP relevant for conversion and the assignments to the IS-M Customizing.
The report initializes the Customizing tables, except for the role category, form of address, title and name suffixes, and deletes all the number ranges for the SAP BP (number range object BU-PARTNER). Only the entries from the customer name range are initialized in the table for the role category.
Requirements
Before initializing, the system checks whether SAP Business Partner master records exist. If this is the case, the step is not performed.
Further notes
When converting occupation descriptions, note that the field has been shortened from C8 to C4. Check the conversion Customizing settings and adjust them if necessary.
