Use

In this step, you define the customer groups for interactive insert planning. You can then create hierarchies of customer groups in a further step.

You assign your customers (retailers) to one or more customer groups or customer group hierarchies for interactive insert planning.

This allows you to select customers for interactive insert planning by their customer group assignment and to assign inserts to an entire customer group, that is to say, to all the contracts of the customers in a customer group.

Activities

To create an insert customer group, please proceed as follows:

  1. Enter an alphanumeric key of up to ten characters for the insert customer group.
  2. If you want to use the insert customer group as an independent grouping characteristic for insert assignment (and not simply as a subgroup for hierarchy maintenance), mark it as the basic customer group for insert planning.
