In this step, you define the variants of the Internet application component Vacation Service.

Requirements

Before you can make these settings, you must perform the step Identification and Checking of Business Partners in the section Internet Application Components.

Activities

Maintain the required data under a key of your choice:

  • Enter the item type and order change type that are to be used to create the new change items.
  • Specify the suspension reason if you chose the item type suspension.
  • Specify the purchase reason.
  • Specify the schedule line quantity if you want to use this combination to record additional copy redirections.
  • Specify an initial country. The main purpose of this entry is to create a "domestic" variant of the application so that the selection field for the region or state is filtered.
  • Choose the settings for identifying and checking business partners. Specify one of the combinations maintained in the relevant Customizing step, represented by your key. This determines where the application runs (logon screen or change form) and which fields are to be used.
  • Define where the data from the Internet changes is to be stored in the Data Destination field. One of the settings allows you to store all data initially in the temporary table. In both the other settings, the redirection/suspension is created directly if the data is correct. Errored data can be stored in the temporary table or rejected in dialog processing. You can postedit data in the temporary table using report RJKWWWTEMP_SERV, Edit Changes from the Internet.
  • In the field IAC-CRM Mail Connection, specify whether or not there can be a connection to a CRM Media e-mail campaign, and if so, how it is to be set up. This parameter defines the behavior of the IAC if accessed from a CRM e-mail campaign. You can assign default settings to various fields and log the customer on.
  • Specify whether or not a log record is to be recorded when the address change is made using data from the Internet. You can evaluate the log using program RJKWWW_PROTOCOL, Log Orders/Changes from the Internet.

Further notes

You can define the application in such a way that the customer can use a radio button to choose between a suspension, a redirection and an additional copy redirection. To do this, define a record for each of these three item types and display the field KEY_VACATION on the Web form in the form of a group of radio buttons. Record the appropriate record in each case as a key.

The URL for calling up the Internet application must be as follows:

http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/jkwww03/!?okcode=strt&key_vacation=w1

Replace the variable w1 with the key you chose for the entry defined in this step. If you use the application for different item types, this access preassigns the item and change type chosen in the record for key w1.
