In this step, you define the alternating address elements you need for the function Alternating Delivery Addresses.
In the following step, you then group the elements you define here to form address alternation groups.
Example
Example 1:
You want to give your subscribers the option of having a daily newspaper delivered to their office on weekdays and to their home address on weekends.
You use the alternating address element to group weekdays accordingly.
In this example, you would define the elements Mo-Fr and Sa/Su and select the corresponding weekdays.
Example 2:
You want to give your subscribers the option of grouping delivery addresses as they wish in the order for specific dates. In this case, there is to be no prescribed configuration.
For example, you define the alternating address elements A1, A2 and A3. In this example, the weekdays are not selected, allowing you to group them flexibly for three delivery addresses in order processing.
In the next step, group the alternating address elements A1, A2 and A3 to form the address alternation group Three Addresses.
