In this step, you write texts to describe responses from the clearing house relevant to the different card checks carried out there for authorization and settlement. The SAP system recognizes only the following responses:
- Checks successful
- Unsuccessful: authorize later
- Unsuccessful: block authorization
You can also store texts for other external responses.
The four categories of texts that you maintain here are:
- Response codes
- Address Verification System (AVS) overall result
- AVS address approval
- AVS zip code approval
