In this step, you start report RJVELNUM, which carries out numbering for the goods arrival lists for periodical post (for each postal distribution indicator) once you have gone live. This enables you to align the goods arrival list numbers in your new system with the current number level in the legacy system.
Example
The goods arrival list numbers 1 to 25 were assigned in the legacy system to editions with the postal distribution indicator A1234Z. So that the goods arrival lists are numbered in sequence despite the change of system, you set the first list number assigned in the new system for postal distribution indicator A1234Z to 26.
Activities
Enter the following on the selection screen of the report:
- Postal distribution indicator of edition
- First goods arrival list number in new system
Note
You can perform a test run first so that you can check and if necessary correct the result before performing a live run.
Note on transport
The settings cannot be transported. Please execute the report in your production system.
